Since 2020, Storie per Sandro has gone through various phases of development and production during which various professionals have been involved, both from the world of filmmaking and beyond. Filming began with Giacomo following Sandro behind the camera, documenting his new daily life through a documentary and intimate approach. In parallel, he starts working on the Stories and the very first phases of production, in which the contributions of artists (such as set design, music, storyboard artists, and costumes) become essential. From the very start, they have been playing a fundamental role in developing the cinematic aspect. The process requires its own time, not only to find the right way to shoot the Stories, but also to allow the possibility to narrate the evolution of Sandro’s character, the passing of time, and the progression of the illness.
